Trial & Surveys
This section is divided in the following categories:
1) List of all the recruiting and scheduled clinical trials in which spinal cord injured patients can be potentially enrolled.
2) Overview of all the pre-clinical treatments which have some positive effects on animal models and therefore have a good chance one day to be translated into a clinical trial.
3) List of treatment series that are delivered all over the world. Wings for Life is strongly advising not to participate in these treatment series as they don’t match international medical standards nor have ever proved efficacy in any way.
4) Compendium (ICCP Guidelines) for persons affected by a spinal cord injury who consider joining a clinical trial (or a treatment series).
5) The Wings for Life clinical trial: Laparoscopic Implantation Of Neuroprothesis (LION procedure) to pelveo-abdominal nerves for recovery of bladder/intestinal/sexual functions in paralyzed patients.
