It’s sometimes hard to navigate through it, but has very useful and up-to-date information.
Women with spinal cord injury make up such a small percentage of the SCI community that much of the information and help is aimed at men. This is a club for women with SCI aimed at offering helpful hints, moral support, and funny stories that we all need from time to time.
The Spinal Cord Injury Peer Support website is a UK based website, which holds important information on all aspects on paralysis resulting in Tetraplegia or Paraplegia. In addition this forum web page provides a very active peer support forum for people in particular living in the UK, where questions can be asked by those affected by spinal cord injuries. With in excess of 3500 members, the forum can answer many questions relating to spinal cord injuries, and is dedicated to improving the quality of life for those affected by this injury.
